Day 10
August 28 – Burnaby Village Museum
This is just a short update.
It’s been a while since I went to the Burnaby Village Museum. There wasn’t really much to do there, but a ton to do there. That makes no sense. Basically what you do is go inside a bunch of houses decorated like Burnaby circa 1920’s (don’t quote me on this…).
Panda and I went together. We ran into a teacher that use to teach Social Studies at our school. He’s the clerk at the General Store for the summer. We chatted with him for a while about everything from how our classmates have been, to where he was teaching, and the impending job action/possible strike by the BC teachers.
I also went on the 100-year-old carousel for the first time, even though I’ve been to the museum 4 times.
